At the beginning of November, it was discovered by a resident that there was an extensive water leak coming from the clubhouse utility room. Water was pooling on the floor and had stretched to every corner of the clubhouse. The board was able to mitigate the issue with Kingsley Water Restoration Services to get the intial damage repaired. Once their process was completed, we could then move forward with a contractor to come and do the remainder of the repair work.
Signifcant progress with the insurance company wasn’t made until the beginning of January and we are now one step closer to settling this incident. Contractors began their work at the clubhouse on Saturday. The clubhouse is expected to be finished with repairs around mid March. If you have a reservation for the clubhouse and have not already been contacted by MJS, please reach out to them directly. Should there be any additional delays, residents will be contacted by MJS if they have a clubhouse reservation beyond the estimated time frame.
