The Association is committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and enjoyable pool facility for all residents and their guests. However, we have recently observed an increase in damage to pool furniture and an unacceptable lack of cleanliness throughout the pool area. We are asking for every resident’s cooperation in following the established community rules.
Pool Furniture
To help preserve our community amenities, please observe the following at all times:
- Pool chairs, tables, and umbrellas must remain in their designated locations and may not be moved around the pool deck.
- After use, all furniture must be returned to its proper position and left neat and orderly.
- Umbrellas must be properly closed and secured before leaving the pool area.
- Personal belongings and all trash must be removed before leaving.
Unfortunately, several pool chairs, tables, and umbrellas have already been damaged and or broken this season, and the summer is not yet over. These repairs and replacements are funded by the Association and ultimately paid for by all homeowners. Preventable damage increases operating costs and may delay the replacement of community amenities.
Pool Restrooms
The condition of the pool restrooms has also become a growing concern. On multiple occasions, the restrooms have been left in an unsanitary condition, making them unpleasant and unhealthy for other residents.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children and ensuring the restrooms are left clean after each use. Before leaving, please take a moment to verify that toilets are flushed, paper products are disposed of properly, and any messes are cleaned up. Every resident deserves access to clean restroom facilities.
Community Responsibility
Our pool is a shared amenity, and every resident plays a role in maintaining it. We ask that you treat the facilities with the same level of care and respect you would expect in your own home.
Please remember that residents are responsible for the conduct of their family members and guests while using the community amenities. Continued disregard for the Pool Rules or damage to Association property may result in enforcement action as permitted by the Association’s Governing Documents, including the suspension of amenity privileges and other remedies available to the HOA.
Your cooperation is appreciated and helps ensure that our pool remains a safe, clean, and enjoyable place for everyone throughout the season.
If you have any questions, concerns or want to contact the members of the Association please email us at board@portraithillsc.com
Thank you for doing your part to protect and preserve our community amenities.
